Ebano UK was founded by three London based Brazilian friends: Dery Santana, Sarah Conceição and Vania Moraes.
Their careers running their own separate businesses and working in the entertainment and events area spans over 20 years, internationally.
The company has the mission to offer a distinguished service, transforming every event into an incredible and satisfactory experience, creating special and unforgettable moments for clients and their guests.

Our Team
Dery Santana
Director
Dery Santana is a former dancer from Salvador (Bahia), who has a solid background in the entertainment and events industry. In Brazil, he danced at Banda Cabelo de Fogo and worked with Banda Mel, Banda Inter and Debora Brasil. As a member of Grupo Noves Fora, he worked as a support-act for singers Ivete Sangalo and Daniela Mercury and bands such as Chiclete com Banana and É o Tchan. In Portugal, where he worked for 9 years both as a dancer and as an event’s organiser, he founded his own dance company Batuque Samba show, which travelled extensively providing Brazilian entertainment for events at various European and African cities. In London since 2009, he continues using his artistic network and knowledge to bring the best Brazilian performers to town.
Elkin Priolo
Producer Manager
Elkin Priolo graduated in Business Administration in Colombia before moving to the UK 25 years ago. In London, he worked for the British Airport Authority (BAA) and has 15 years’ experience in customer relations and customer services. Elkin enjoys Afro-Brazilian music and dance and recognises there are many similarities between the Brazilian and Colombian cultures. Keen on bringing his business experience to Ebano UK, Elkin joined the company to work as its producer manager.
Sarah Conceição
Director
Sarah Conceição is a young and lively Brazilian businesswoman who is passionate about Brazilian Culture and what it has to offer at its best. Sarah graduated as an economist whilst running her own aesthetics business in her home town Salvador, in Bahia. When she moved to London in 2015, Sarah envisaged one day she could combine her entrepreneurial spirit and 15 years’ business experience with the enthusiasm she’s always had for the arts and culture fields. This became reality when she joined her partners Dery and Vania to work in the events management industry in 2018, establishing together Ebano UK.
Vânia Moraes
Director
Vânia Moraes is an experienced promoter and events manager from Rio de Janeiro. As a samba dancer, she travelled the world and took part of several Rio Carnival parades with Beija-Flor de Nilopolis and Unidos do Salgueiro, even becoming the second flag-bearer for Leao de Nova Iguacu and Canario das Laranjeiras samba schools. Organising the June Festivities in her Rio neighbourhood when she was only 16, giving her the first experience with events. However, it wasn’t until 2002 that settled in Portugal and took up events management as her profession. Based in London since 2013, Vania has now resumed working as an events manager, bringing all her event experience and passion to Ebano UK.
